the most famous reindeer off all...

A favorite from my childhood collection - Roudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, illustrated by Richard Scarry.

Have a wonderful and joyous Christmas and a happy New Year!

Thanks for the kind words Steven! It means a lot coming from someone who's work I've long admired.

For anyone interested: I highly recommend Steven's comics. Also check out his blog Chewing Gum in Church.

Wow...I've been looking for this image for some time now. The color and printing of it has been stuck in my head since my youth.
It's what Christmas reminds me of most.

I just found your blog, you'd love to browse my bookshelves. I have kept all my(and my older relatives) books from childhood. I also have a ton of my mom's old readers from her stint as a kidnergarten teacher. I'll have to dig into them. Any tips on specific illustrators to look for? I have the book in this post btw. I keep it in a collection of all my old Christmas-themed books and I display them during the holidays.
